Pearl is a Chrome extension that helps you edit, translate, and generate text inside input fields on the web using AI. This policy explains what data the extension handles and how.
Requests are sent over HTTPS to our own proxy server hosted on Cloudflare Workers. The proxy forwards the text to the AI provider (Anthropic, Claude API) to generate a response, then returns the result to the extension. The text is used only to produce your result and is not stored by Pearl after the request completes.
Text you submit is processed by Anthropic to generate responses, subject to Anthropic's privacy and usage policies. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy.
Your optional writing-style note is stored using Chrome's
storage.sync so it persists across your signed-in browsers. You
can clear it any time from the extension settings.
